In the unlikely event that hurricane-force winds (as defined by the US National Weather Service) directly strike a Sandals resort, interrupting the use of all the included activities while you are a guest, Sandals Resorts will offer a free replacement vacation to be taken at any Sandals resort of your choice. This replacement stay will be for the same duration as the one originally booked, regardless of how many days were affected by the hurricane. The replacement stay will be in an equivalent room category to the one originally booked. Airfare is included for North American guests to any Sandals resort throughout the Caribbean. The trip is redeemable for up to one year.

The policy, introduced in 1997, takes the worry out of booking a Sandals vacation any time of the year, including hurricane season, because Sandals eliminates the risk.
